I've played them both, and there's no difference in gameplay, graphics, or content. Go with whichever platform you prefer.
The content you'll find on Steam and Epic Games is identical. It's all about personal preference or where you scored the best deal!
I've sunk hundreds of hours into both versions and trust me, they're the same alien ocean adventure on either platform!
