Yeah, they're trouble. Synths might seem okay at first, but you never know when one's going to flip a switch and cause chaos. I'd say avoid 'em if you want peace and quiet in your settlements. Stick to humans and the occasional ghoul.

Absolutely not! Synths can actually be a boon for your settlements. They work hard, don't complain, and you won't have to worry about them eating all your food. Plus, it adds a cool 'living in the future' vibe to your post-apocalyptic homestead.

Nope, synths aren't bad for settlements by default in Fallout 4. It all comes down to how you play and the choices you make. Not at all. Synths are just like any other settlers, except maybe a bit more...metallic? As long as they're not Institute spies (which is a whole other can of worms), they're fine. Treat 'em well, and they'll do the same.
