Yep, gold Pokemon cards are definitely a thing, but not all that glitters is gold. Some are official, ultra-rare cards released by the Pokemon Company. These beauties are real and highly prized by collectors. However, the internet's a wild place, and you might come across fakes or custom cards that aren't from official sets. Always check the source if you're aiming for the real deal.

Gold Pokemon cards do exist and they're like the crown jewels for collectors. I remember pulling one from a pack once and totally freaking out. Best day ever! But yeah, there are fake ones out there, so just be careful where you're buying from.

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
