It depends! Most of the older Dragon Ball movies (like DBZ movies 1-13) are considered non-canon because they don't fit into the main timeline. Nope, most of them are just fun side stories. But 'Battle of Gods' and 'Broly' are canon for sure.
Most of the Dragon Ball movies aren't considered canon since they don't fit into the main story timeline. Exceptions include 'Battle of Gods,' 'Resurrection 'F',' and 'Broly,' which are part of Dragon Ball Super's canon.
I've watched them all, and trust me, the newer movies sync up with the series' main events. The classics? Fun, but not canon!
