Are the Dragon Ball Movies Canon?
HouselingMoon路4 months agoIt depends! Most of the older Dragon Ball movies (like DBZ movies 1-13) are considered non-canon because they don't fit into the main timeline. However, recent movies like 'Dragon Ball Super: Broly' and 'Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero' are considered canon and fit within the storyline of the anime and manga.

Nope, most of them are just fun side stories. But 'Battle of Gods' and 'Broly' are canon for sure.
Most of the Dragon Ball movies aren't considered canon since they don't fit into the main story timeline. Exceptions include 'Battle of Gods,' 'Resurrection 'F',' and 'Broly,' which are part of Dragon Ball Super's canon.
I've watched them all, and trust me, the newer movies sync up with the series' main events. The classics? Fun, but not canon!
I've watched them all, and trust me, aside from 'Battle of Gods,' 'Resurrection 'F,' and 'Broly,' most movies are just for fun and not part of the main story.
