Absolutely, the Institute containers are safe to use in Fallout 4. Think of them as your personal stash spots in one of the most technologically advanced places in the Commonwealth. You can store your loot there without worrying about any wasteland critters or nosy settlers getting their hands on your stuff.

Gonna have to disagree with the common wisdom here – while Institute containers are generally safe, remember this is Fallout we're talking about. The game doesn't explicitly reset these containers, but I wouldn't risk storing my rarest items in there. Lost a pretty nifty weapon once; wasn't sure if it was a glitch or I just forgot where I put it. Better safe than sorry, I always say.

100% safe! I've been stashing my goodies in Institute containers for ages, and I've never had an issue. Plus, it makes me feel like a high-tech hoarder, which is pretty cool in a post-apocalyptic world. Store away!

If you're a Fallout 4 player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
