As a huge fan who’s watched it all, I can say the OVAs are more like extra content. They add some fun moments but aren’t crucial for the main story. Enjoy them for what they are!

Not really! The OVAs are generally considered side stories that don’t affect the main plot of the series. They're fun to watch, though!
