Yep, there are animals in GTA Online. You won't see them roaming around everywhere like in single-player mode, but they do exist. Mainly, you'll find dogs and cats in neighborhoods, and some wildlife like birds flying around. It's not a zoo, but it's something!

Nah, GTA Online is pretty much a no-pet zone. Don't expect to see as many animals as in the single-player game.
