Are tokens put into the graveyard in MTG?

Yup, tokens definitely hit the graveyard in MTG. When a token creature dies, it goes to the graveyard just like any other creature would. But, don't get too attached! Tokens vanish into thin air the moment they hit the graveyard, almost like they're saying 'poof' and disappearing from the game entirely. So, while they do technically 'visit' the graveyard, they don't stick around long enough for any graveyard tea parties.

Nope, tokens don't 'go' to the graveyard. They just disappear. Why bother with the graveyard if they're just going to vanish, right?

Absolutely, tokens do go to the graveyard when they die! It's a brief visit though, because they're removed from the game right after. This can matter for triggers that happen 'whenever a creature dies' or 'whenever something goes to the graveyard'. Had a game where this tiny detail clinched the win for me!

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
