Yep, unfortunately, the Xbox 360 does have region locking. That means a game from Europe might not work on a console from the US. Bummer, right?

From my experience, most Xbox 360 games are region-locked. I once bought a game from Japan, and my US console wouldn't play it.

Not all Xbox 360 games are region-locked. Some publishers release region-free titles, so check the game's packaging or description before buying.

Yes, Xbox 360 consoles are region-locked for most games. Just like DVDs, they have different regions like NTSC and PAL.

If you're a Xbox player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Xbox gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
