Technically, yes, two people can cut a deck in MTG, but it's not typical in most play settings. Usually, after shuffling, your opponent gets the chance to cut your deck. In casual games, it's all about that trust vibe, so if you want your friend to help cut, go for it. Just don't bring a buddy to a tournament expecting them to cut for you – that'll raise some eyebrows!

In my experience, letting two people cut the deck is just inviting chaos. Stick to the one person rule, it's smoother and avoids any complications. Had a game where someone's friend tried to 'help' cut the deck and ended up dropping it. Lesson learned.

No way, only one player should cut the deck. Keeps things simple and fair.

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
