Can a Commander Be Exiled in MTG?
BivouacingFirm路7 months agoYep, commanders can definitely be exiled in MTG. But here's the cool part - because of the 'commander rules,' if your commander gets exiled, you can choose to put it back into the command zone instead. This means you can cast it again later, but it'll cost you 2 more mana each time. It's like your commander has 9 lives, but each life is just a bit more expensive than the last.

Short answer: Yes, they can be exiled. But unlike other permanents, you get to decide if it goes to exile or back to the command zone. Choose wisely!
No way, exiling a commander should totally not be a thing. Ruins the whole 'immortal leader' vibe, IMO.
