Yep, commanders can definitely be exiled in MTG. But here's the cool part - because of the 'commander rules,' if your commander gets exiled, you can choose to put it back into the command zone instead. This means you can cast it again later, but it'll cost you 2 more mana each time. It's like your commander has 9 lives, but each life is just a bit more expensive than the last.

Short answer: Yes, they can be exiled. But unlike other permanents, you get to decide if it goes to exile or back to the command zone. Choose wisely!

No way, exiling a commander should totally not be a thing. Ruins the whole 'immortal leader' vibe, IMO.

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
