Absolutely, your commander can hit the graveyard. Whether it's through battle, a spell, or an ability, they can end up there just like any other card. But here's the kicker: When your commander hits the graveyard, you get to choose if it stays there or gets shuffled back into the command zone, ready to be summoned again, albeit at a higher mana cost. So, while your commander can visit the graveyard, they don't have to stay there unless you want them to.

Commanders are like cats with nine lives; they can go to the graveyard but don't have to stay there. You've got the power to bring them back to the command zone!

Nope, commanders going to the graveyard is essentially pointless. Just put them back in the command zone and keep the game moving!

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
