No way, keep that hand hidden! Showing your cards gives away your game plan. I mean, why would you let your opponent know what you're up to? Poker face, my friend, poker face.

Absolutely, a MTG player can totally show their hand, but it's all about WHEN and WHY you'd want to do it. During a casual game, you might show your hand to a friend for fun, or to speed up a game if you're both about to head out. In a tournament setting, though, revealing your hand without a specific card or rule prompting you to do so might not be the best strategy. It's like showing your opponent your secret weapons before the battle has even begun!

Actually, sometimes you HAVE to show your hand, like when a spell or ability requires it. It's not just a choice; it's part of the game. So, yes, players can show their hand, but often it's because the game mechanics made them do it.

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
