Nope, PS3 discs won't work on a PS4. Different hardware and software, unfortunately.

PS4 isn't backward compatible with PS3 discs, but you can get some PS3 games digitally on the PlayStation Store or through PlayStation Now.

I've tried putting PS3 discs into my PS4, and trust me, it just doesn't work. Had to go digital for those old favorites.
