Unfortunately, the PS3 doesn't support 4K Blu-rays. It maxes out at 1080p resolution for Blu-ray playback.

Nope, the PS3 can't play 4K Blu-rays. It only supports up to 1080p HD Blu-rays. Time for a console upgrade if you want those sweet 4K visuals!

PS3 can't play 4K Blu-rays. Stick with PS4 Pro or PS5 for that.

I tried playing a 4K Blu-ray on my PS3 and it didn’t work. Had to switch to my PS5 for stunning 4K quality.
