Counter spells only work when a spell is actually cast, so you can't counter the act of suspending itself. But once that suspended card is finally cast for real, you can counter it just like any other spell. Timing is everything.

Yep, you totally can counter a suspend spell! When a card with suspend is finally ready to cast after chilling out for a few turns, it hits the stack just like any spell. That's your golden moment to slap down a counter. Just imagine waiting all those turns, only to get your spell countered鈥攐uch!

Actually, I think it's kinda neat to counter a suspend spell. It's like waiting for the perfect ambush. Suspended spells feel like they're in slow-mo, giving you all the time in the world to prepare your counter.

No way. Countering suspend spells feels cheap. It's like, let the spell happen, dude. Don't be that guy.

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
