Can a veteran get a VA mortgage a second time?
PassingDada路7 months agoYes, but with a catch. Your full entitlement resets only if you pay off the first VA loan. However, you can still get another VA loan even without paying the first one in full; this is called second-tier entitlement. It's complex but not impossible. You might not get as big a loan the second time around without a down payment.

Short answer: Yes. Long answer: Still yes, but make sure your eligibility is in check and you understand the entitlement aspect. Good luck!
Absolutely! Veterans can get a VA mortgage more than once. There's a common misconception that it's a one-time benefit, but that's not the case. You can use the benefit multiple times; the key factor is restoring your entitlement each time you use it. You can either pay off the previous VA loan in full or have someone else (who's also eligible) assume the loan. The process might seem a bit daunting, but it's totally doable with the right guidance!
