Nah, companions in Fallout 4 got that plot armor even in survival mode. They get knocked down in a fight, but they won't die. They just chill on the ground until you wipe out the enemies, then they're back on their feet like nothing happened.

Companions in Fallout 4 survival mode are basically immortal. They can't die no matter how chaotic the battle gets. It's like they're just too stubborn to go down permanently.

Totally, companions can't actually 'die' die in Fallout 4 survival. Worst case, they take a knee until the coast is clear. Makes you wonder if they're just being dramatic, huh?

Absolutely not, your Fallout 4 buddies are invincible in survival mode. They might take a break on the ground during fights, but they're not leaving your side for good.
