Probably just a keybinding issue. Go to Options -> Controls -> Customize Controller and set the crouch button again.

Check your controller settings and make sure the crouch button is correctly mapped. Sometimes a simple rebinding can fix it!

Had the same issue! Usually, it's just that the controller config reset, just remap it and should be good to go!
