Totally invincible! My Dogmeat took a direct hit from a super mutant and was back on his feet like nothing happened. Best apocalypse buddy you could ask for.

Actually, Dogmeat's immortality kinda breaks the immersion for me. I mean, a glowing deathclaw can't take him down?

Nope, Dogmeat can't die! Bethesda made sure your furry companion is immortal in Fallout 4. He can get hurt and will need a moment to recover if he takes too much damage, but he won't die. So, explore the Wasteland without fear of losing your best bud!

Dogmeat is basically invincible in Fallout 4. He might play dead if he's overwhelmed, but give it a minute, and he's up wagging his tail again.

Dogmeat's tougher than he looks! Can confirm he won't die, but he will need a second to catch his breath if things get too hairy.

If you're a Fallout 4 player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!
