Nah, everyone knows you can only play with people from the same platform. Epic stays with Epic, and Steam stays with Steam. Simple as that.

Yes, GTA 5 allows for crossplay between Epic Games Store and Steam versions. I play with my friends all the time; half of us got it from Epic and the others on Steam. Works seamlessly every time we play.
