Actually, they are immortal... mostly. The only exception is during specific quests or if you're playing on Survival mode. Then, and only then, can your companions taste mortality. Choose your battles wisely!

Nah, your Fallout 4 companions have plot armor thicker than a super mutant's skull. They can't die in the normal course of gameplay. If they take heavy damage, they just get knocked down and eventually get back up. So, feel free to drag Preston Garvey into the most dangerous fights; he'll grumble, but he can't kick the bucket.

If you're a Fallout 4 player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
