Absolutely, Franklin can buy a house in GTA 5, but it's all part of the storyline. You don't actually get to shop around and pick a house. Once you hit a certain point in the story, Franklin gets a sweet new safehouse in Vinewood Hills. It's more about storyline progression than actual real estate shopping.

Nah, Franklin doesn't really 'buy' a house in the traditional sense. He gets one through the storyline. No browsing Zillow for Franklin!
