Nah, GTA 5 next-gen and current-gen players can't join forces in the virtual world. Each version is like its own exclusive club, with no cross-platform guest passes available. So, if you're rocking the latest console, you won't be able to team up with or go head-to-head against your buddies on the older platforms.
Unfortunately, GTA V doesn鈥檛 support cross-gen play. Found this out the hard way after upgrading my console. Had to convince my friends to upgrade too, so we could continue our virtual criminal empire together.
