Absolutely! Hau and Shauna serve similar purposes by refreshing your hand, but they do it in slightly different ways. Hau allows you to draw 3 cards, plain and simple. Shauna, on the other hand, makes you shuffle your hand into your deck and then draw 5 cards. So, if you're looking for a more straightforward draw without the shuffle, Hau's your guy. Plus, sometimes you just don't wanna part with the cards in your hand, even if it's for the chance at drawing more.

Hot take: Hau is just okay. Shauna might make you shuffle your hand back into your deck, but you get more cards in return. Drawing 5 cards can really turn the game around, more than the 3 cards from Hau. It's all about that big play potential.

In my experience, Hau has been a solid choice for quick draws, especially when I'm in a pinch and need options without losing my current hand. It's great for keeping the momentum going without the risk of shuffling away potentially useful cards. So yeah, Hau can replace Shauna depending on your deck strategy!

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
