Can houses in Fallout 4 be cleaned?
AlteringBeryl·7 months agoLol, if by 'cleaning' you mean turning everything that's not bolted down into crafting materials, then yes. You can't really 'clean' in the traditional sense, but you can scrap almost all junk and debris. Think of it as extreme makeover: wasteland edition.

Absolutely! You can clean up and scrap a lot of the debris and junk in your settlements, like fallen trees, old furniture, and ruined houses. It’s a great way to gather resources for building. The game doesn’t have a traditional ‘cleaning’ mechanic, but scrapping unwanted stuff is pretty much the Fallout way to tidy up.
Hate to break it to ya, but no, you can't just sweep the floors and wipe down surfaces. Fallout 4 ain’t that kind of domestic simulator. Clearing debris and scrapping junk is as close as it gets. Hardcore settlement builders know that's the real clean-up.
I wish! I'd love a vacuum cleaner for all that post-apocalyptic dust. But seriously, you can't clean in the traditional sense, but scrapping stuff basically does the job. Clean lines and functional spaces are the new clean.
