Actually, you can't buy them. Iron nuggets are more of a 'finders, keepers' deal in Animal Crossing. You gotta mine them by whacking rocks.

No buying, only mining! Hitting rocks on your island or mystery islands is how you stock up on those precious iron nuggets. It's hard work but totally worth it for all the DIY crafting you'll do.

Nope, you can't buy iron nuggets directly in Animal Crossing: New Horizons. You gotta get them the old-fashioned way by hitting rocks with a shovel or an axe. Sometimes you get lucky and they drop from balloons or wash up on the beach, but no Nook's Cranny shopping spree for these shiny little guys!

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
