You might be able to work around it by buying gift cards with both credit cards first and then using those gift cards to purchase the game.

Nope, unfortunately, most platforms only allow one form of payment per purchase, so you can't split it between two credit cards.

Speaking from experience, I bought gift cards with each credit card and then used them to buy the game. Worked like a charm!
