Yeah, you can totally clear the shader cache on your Steam Deck if you're finding yourself needing some extra space or troubleshooting. Just dive into the settings, look for the 'Shader Pre-Caching' option, and you'll find the option to clear it there. Remember though, clearing it might lead to longer load times for some games as they recompile those shaders.

No need, IMO. Clearing shader cache for more space doesn't really solve your problems and can make games run worse. Just get a bigger SD card!

Absolutely, deleting shader cache on your Steam Deck is doable. However, think twice before doing so. Games might stutter more the first time after you clear it since they need to rebuild the cache. It's a trade-off between freeing up some space and potential temporary performance hits.

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
