Actually, you sort of can own a house...if you squint a bit. The closest thing to buying a house in Fallout 4 is getting the Home Plate in Diamond City. You have to purchase it for 2000 caps, and then it's all yours to decorate and use as a personal base. So, while you can't browse Zillow for wasteland properties, you can snag this cozy spot in the game's biggest settlement.

Nope, you can't just buy a house in Fallout 4 like you might in other RPGs. But don't worry! You can claim various settlements around the wasteland and build your own house from scratch. It's like upgrading from buying a pre-built home to being the architect of your own post-apocalyptic dream mansion.

Straight up, no. But building your own place is way cooler anyway. Gives you a chance to unleash that inner architect!

If you're a Fallout 4 player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
