Xbox 360 games from Games with Gold? Yours for life. Xbox One and Series X/S games? Only with an active Gold membership. Simple as that.

With Xbox Live Gold, any Xbox 360 games you get through Games with Gold are yours to keep forever. However, Xbox One and Series X/S games require an active subscription to play. If your membership lapses, you lose access until you renew.

Based on my experience, Xbox 360 titles stay in your library forever once you download them with Games with Gold. For Xbox One and Series X/S games, you'll need to keep your Gold membership active to continue playing.

Nope! You lose access to Xbox One and Series X/S games if your Xbox Live Gold membership expires.

If you're a Xbox player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Xbox gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
