Nope, you can't officially transfer the game between platforms. It's like trying to put a square peg in a round hole - just doesn't fit. But hey, adding it as a non-Steam game is a decent workaround.

Sorry mate, you can't directly 'move' Fallout 76 to Steam if you bought it through Bethesda or another platform. Each platform's version of the game is like a unique snowflake - beautiful in its own way but doesn't mingle well with others. However, you can add it as a non-Steam game to your Steam library. This way, you can still access it through Steam, but you won't get Steam features like achievements or trading cards.

Actually, I bought Fallout 76 on Bethesda, and all I did was add it as a non-Steam game to my Steam library. No, it's not the same as buying it on Steam, but it lets me launch it from there, so that's something.

If you're a Fallout 76 player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
