Nope, sorry to break it to ya, but you can't play the PS5 version of GTA 5 on a PS4. The PS5 version is enhanced and optimized for the next-gen console, so it won't work on the older PS4. You'll need to grab the PS4 version if you want to play on that console.

Short answer: No. The PS5 version has features and graphics that are too advanced for the PS4 to handle.

Um, def not. Tried it at a buddy's house thinking we could outsmart the system. Spoiler: we couldn't. PS4 said 'nope' to the PS5 disc.
