Nope, you can't play Valorant on the Steam Deck directly because it's not available in the Steam store. Valorant is a game from Riot Games, and they haven't made it available on Steam, sticking to their own launcher for distribution. Plus, Valorant's anti-cheat system isn't compatible with the Linux-based SteamOS that Steam Deck runs on, so even if you tried some workarounds, you'd likely run into a wall there.

Actually, while you technically can't play Valorant directly through Steam or SteamOS on the Steam Deck, some folks have managed workarounds by installing Windows on their Steam Deck. But, this isn't supported by Valve or Riot Games, and it could mess with Valorant's anti-cheat software, potentially leading to a ban. So, if you're thinking of trying this, proceed with caution.

Good luck, but Valorant's anti-cheat system and Steam Deck don't mix. Best to stick to games that are officially supported to avoid a headache (or a ban!).

If you're a Valorant player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Valorant gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
