Nope, you can’t play Game Pass games after your subscription ends. It’s like a movie rental – once it's over, it’s time to return them.

Win official Xbox gift cards by playing games on Playbite!

Hot take: Game Pass games disappearing post-expiry is kinda fair. They’re subscription-based, not free candy!

Your progress is safe though! If you buy the game later or renew, you can pick up right where you left off.

From personal experience, once my Xbox Game Pass lapsed, those games became as unplayable as a scratched CD. Gotta renew or buy 'em!

Sadly, once your Xbox Game Pass expires, access to Game Pass titles vanishes faster than cookies at a grandma's house. You'll need to renew or buy the games outright.

If you're a Xbox player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Xbox gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company. The logos and other identifying marks attached are trademarks of and owned by each represented company and/or its affiliates. Please visit each company's website for additional terms and conditions.
