Nope, you can't stop the game from detecting your video hardware. Fallout 4 needs to check your system to set up the best performance settings for your rig. But hey, tweaking settings manually post-detection can still get you the perfect balance of eye candy and performance!

Good luck with that, because Fallout 4 is like a detective with a magnifying glass when it comes to checking out your system's video hardware. It's hardcoded to scan and adjust, but feel free to dive into the settings afterward and fine-tune to your heart's content.

Short answer: No. Long answer: Still no, but you're not totally out of options. After it does its initial setup thing, you can always go into the game settings and adjust the graphics to better suit your setup or preferences. Tinker away!

If you're a Fallout 4 player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
