Nope, unfortunately, you can't transfer V-Bucks directly to a friend. But you can always get them a V-Bucks gift card!

You can't transfer V-Bucks directly, but you can gift items from the item shop to your friend.

V-Bucks can't be transferred directly. Epic Games didn鈥檛 design the system that way!

I've tried, but transferring V-Bucks isn't an option. Just send your friend a gift card and call it a day!
