You need to connect to the server to get those sweet, sweet roster updates. Offline updates aren't a thing, unfortunately.

Nope, you can't update the roster without an internet connection. The server's gotta be involved.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but updating the NBA 2K roster does require a server connection. Gotta stay connected!

No, the game doesn't support updating rosters without connecting to the server. It's all done online.

I tried everything to update my rosters offline, but it鈥檚 just not possible. You need the server for any roster changes.

If you're a NBA 2K player looking for extra VCs or other power-ups, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

Two of those prizes are the official App Store and Play Store gift cards, which you can win and use to get anything you want in  NBA 2K essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
