Unfortunately, PSN cards are region-locked. You'll need to get a US card for a US account.

Nope, you can't use a UK PSN card on a US account. Sony's a stickler for region locking!

Tried it myself, and it didn't work. Stick to the same region for PSN cards and accounts.
