You can try using a crossover adapter. It tricks the PS3 into thinking the Xbox controller is actually a PS3 controller.

Nope, Xbox controllers aren't natively compatible with the PS3. You'd need a special adapter if you really want to make it work.

Honestly, just use a PS3 controller. The hassle with adapters isn't worth it.
