Can MacCready die in Fallout 4?
MacCready is basically invincible when he's with you, but let's just say, hypothetically, if he ever did kick the bucket, it would make looting in the wasteland way less entertaining. Thankfully, Bethesda decided he's too cool to die.

Nope, he can't die. Essential NPCs like MacCready have plot armor thicker than a super mutant's skull.
Nah, MacCready's got that video game immortality on his side when he's your companion. He can get knocked down in battles, but he won't die. Once the fight's over, he'll just get back up ready to throw more sarcastic comments your way.
