Absolutely! Mutavault has a neat trick up its sleeve. It's all about timing. Mutavault itself is a land card, but its ability can turn it into a creature with all creature types until end of turn. This means it can block creatures with intimidate since intimidate only prevents it from being blocked by creatures that don't share a type. Since Mutavault becomes every creature type, it technically shares a type with any creature it's blocking!

Short answer: Yes, it can. When Mutavault is a creature, it's every creature type, making it the ultimate blocker for intimidate creatures.

Nope, people think it can but it actually can't. Intimidate means it can only be blocked by creatures of the same type or by artifact creatures. Since Mutavault turns into all creature types, it should block, right? Wrong. Intimidate is outdated. Just use removal spells instead.

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
