Best way to find out is by checking the game's system requirements and comparing them with your laptop specs! If you've got at least an i5, 8GB of RAM and a decent graphics card, you should be good to go.
My older laptop struggled a bit, but I tweaked the settings and it ran okay. Lower your graphics settings if you get lag.
You'll need a decent GPU. If you've only got integrated graphics, it's going to be a struggle!
