Can my PC play Fallout 4?
HouselingMoon·8 months agoTotally depends on your PC specs! Fallout 4 needs at least a quad-core CPU, 8GB of RAM, and a DirectX 11 compatible graphics card like an NVIDIA GTX 550 Ti or AMD Radeon HD 7870. Check your PC’s specs and compare them to the game's requirements on Bethesda’s website. If you're close or above these specs, you’re all set for a trip to the Wasteland!

Nope, if you're running it on a potato. But seriously, if you've kept your PC's hardware updated within the last 5-6 years, you’re probably good. However, don't expect to crank the settings to ultra without a decent GPU. Happy gaming!
Honestly, it runs better than you’d think on older hardware. I slapped it onto my 2012 build last year outta curiosity (upgraded to a GTX 960 and 8GB RAM). Had to tweak the settings a bit, but it ran smoother than expected. Not max settings, but hey, it's Fallout 4, not a slideshow.
Short answer: yes, if you've got a decently modern PC. Fallout 4 ain't exactly a spring chicken, being released back in 2015. So, if your rig was put together in the last few years, chances are you can run it. Still, double-check those game requirements to avoid disappointment.
