Here's a quick way to check: If your PC is newer than a 2016 toaster, you're probably good! For specifics, make sure you've got a decent graphics card and at least 8GB of RAM.

Fortnite's recommended specs are pretty reasonable: Intel Core i5-7300U @ 3.5 GHz, 8GB RAM, and an NVIDIA GTX 960 or AMD R9 280. If you meet or beat these, you're golden.

I played on a five-year-old laptop, and it was fine. Just set the graphics to low if you experience any lag.

If you're a Fortnite player looking for extra v-bucks, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Fortnite gift card, which you can win and use to get v-bucks essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
