Ah, the ol' Castle conundrum! If you're struggling to build inside the Castle in Fallout 4, make sure you've completed the 'Taking Independence' quest first. Once you reclaim the Castle for the Minutemen, you should be able to build to your heart's content. Also, clear any debris or remaining mirelurk nests as they can block building in certain areas. And remember, sometimes the game gets a bit glitchy, so if all else fails, saving, exiting, and reloading can sometimes work wonders.

I never had issues. Maybe it's a glitch? Try reloading an older save.

Just zap those mirelurk eggs with a flamethrower and you're good to go. Had to do it myself!

You actually can't build in the Castle till you do specific quests. It's not a bug; it's a feature ;)

If you're a Fallout 4 player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
