It really depends on the game. I've had a blast playing with my Steam friends while I was on PC Game Pass. For instance, games like 'Sea of Thieves' and 'Halo: The Master Chief Collection' are a go for crossplay.

Totally, lots of games that are on both PC Game Pass and Steam support cross-platform play, meaning you can absolutely team up with or face against your pals, regardless of which platform you're on. Just make sure the game itself supports crossplay.
