Nope, your PS3 won't play burned PS1 games. Stick to official discs or digital downloads from the PlayStation Store.

Tried a burned PS1 game on my PS3 last week. It didn't work. Save yourself the trouble and use legit copies.

Only original PS1 discs or digital versions on the PlayStation Store will play on a PS3. Burned discs are a no-go.
