Yeah they can! GTA Online supports cross-gen play, so PS4 and PS5 players can team up or face off in the vast world of Los Santos. Just make sure you're both playing the same version of GTA Online!

Nope, can't do that. PS4 and PS5 are like oil and water, they don't mix... or do they? In the case of GTA Online, they actually do! So yes, PS4 and PS5 players can play together. My bad!
