Yes and no! The PS5 can play most PS4 games through backward compatibility, but it can't natively play PS1, PS2, or PS3 discs. For older titles, you may need to use PlayStation Now, which streams a selection of PS3, PS2, and PS4 games.

Only PS4 games are playable directly on the PS5. For PS1, PS2, and PS3 games, you'll need PlayStation Now or hope for future remasters!

No, the PS5 can't play PS1, PS2, or PS3 games natively. It can handle PS4 games though.

Speaking from experience, I love that my PS5 plays PS4 games seamlessly. For my classic PS1 and PS2 games, I use PlayStation Now. It keeps my nostalgia alive!

If you're a PlayStation player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official PlayStation gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
